ECSO MM Day Conduct Us 6.21.18
3 Jul 2018
On Thursday, June 21 from 5pm-7pm, in celebration of Make Music Day, members of the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra were located at Mystic River Park waiting to perform. All they needed was a conductor. Members of the public had a chance to conduct: in this video three brave volunteers boldly interpreted Grieg’s In the Hall of the Mountain King. Make Music Day Southeastern CT is a part of the international Make Music Day movement, which brings free, community-wide, outdoor musical celebrations to hundreds of cities worldwide! Every year, the celebration is held on June 21, the summer solstice, in more than 800 communities around the world.
