Join the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra as it embarks on its 70th anniversary season! The ECSO performs 6 classical concerts from October to May at the Garde Arts Center in New London. Music Director & Conductor Toshiyuki Shimada has programmed an exciting season showcasing the ECSO's critically acclaimed virtuosity and scope of repertoire. Repertoire worthy of this milestone has been chosen, from Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade to Beethoven’s universally adored Symphony No. 9. We will go on sonic adventures exploring the sounds of whales alongside the orchestra, an evening of storybook suites, and an epic space-themed program.
