KARIN CARLSON, DIRECTORThe Eastern Connecticut Youth String Ensemble is composed of string players in grades 4-8, and rehearses every Monday or Tuesday evenings at Clark Lane Middle School from 6:30 - 7:45 PM. The conductor of the ensemble is Karin Carlson who is the East Lyme High School Orchestra director and guitar teacher.
AUDITIONS
Auditions will be held Monday, September 10th, from 5:00 p.m. Registration is at 5:30 p.m. and rehearsal starts at 6:30 p.m. at Clark Lane Middle School in Waterford, CT. Students should prepare a short musical selection (1-2 minutes) and a scale of choice. Special audition arrangements can be made if there is a conflict.
