About ECSC
The Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus is an energetic group of auditioned volunteer singers who range in age from high school students to octogenarians, and currently boasts 84 members! We rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7pm - 9pm (unless otherwise noted) from September through April, at the First Congregational Church located at 66 Union Street in New London. The Chorus performs a minimum of two concerts annually. Concert dates for the 2010/2011 season are listed below.
AUDITIONS Auditions for the upcoming season will be held on September 15th and September 22nd from 5:30pm - 6:30pm at the First Congregational Church, 66 Union Street, New London, CT. Interested singers should contact ECSC President Sheri Pellerin at to arrange for a time slot.
2010/2011 CONCERTS
December 18, 2010 (7:30pm) - Annual Holiday Concert; 7:30pm at Harkness Chapel on the Connecticut College Campus.
April 30, 2011 (8pm) - "Resounding Voices" concert featuring Mahler's Symphony No. 2; Resurrection Symphony with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra. Garde Arts Center, New London, CT.
