The chorus has seventy-five auditioned volunteer singers who rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7pm - 9pm (unless otherwise noted) from September through April, at the First Congregational Church located at 66 Union Street in New London (near the Post Office). The Chorus performs a minimum of two concerts annually. Concert dates for the 2009/2010 season are listed below.

OPEN REHEARSAL - JANUARY 20th - 7-9pm
The ECSC is opening its first rehearsal of 2010 to those who might be interested in seeing what it's like to be a member of the last remaining symphony chorus in Connecticut. This is a great opportunity to sing along with us! No auditions will be held during this rehearsal. Auditions for the Spring 2010 season will be held on Wednesday, January 27th and Wednesday, February 3rd, beginning at 6pm, and immediately preceding the first and second regularly scheduled rehearsals which run from 7-9 pm. Auditions are in the meeting hall attached to the rear of the First Congregational Church in New London. You may sing a song of your own choice such as a hymn. No show tunes are acceptable. 2009/2010 CONCERTS
December 19, 2009 (8pm)Postponed to Wednesday, January 13th (7:30pm)- "Happy Belated Birthday" Concert at Harkness Chapel on the Connecticut College campus: Celebrating the 200th anniversary of Felix Mendelssohn's birth, featuring excerpts from Elijah.
April 10, 2010(8pm) - Performance with the ECSO at the Garde Arts Center: French Connections. The Chorus will perform Poulenc's Gloria and Ravel's Daphnis and Chloe Suite No. 2.
May 2, 2010(4pm) - ECSC in collaboration with the Greater Middletown Chorale (GMC) at the Middletown High School Theater: Mendelssohn's Elijah (full score).
